What is my temporary ID?
The Storm8 ID or Support ID for the account you're currently seeing on the device you want to recover your original account onto. This may be a brand new level 1 account if you're on a new device. Or it may be another account you have that is temporarily on your device until Support recovers your original account.
*If you want to continue accessing your temporary ID even after recovering your original account onto your device, make sure you create a password for the temporary ID BEFORE the account recovery is done.
My game has Support IDs, do I need to create a temporary Storm8 ID?
If your game has a Support ID (not all Storm8 games do), you do not need to create a new Storm8 ID and you could send the Support ID you see on your current device as your temporary ID.
*However, if plan on accessing this temporary account in the future, then you'll need to create one as you'll need it for the Login Feature to log into the temporary account.
How do I create my temporary ID?
The same way you created your original Storm8 ID if you did in the past.
- Install the game app on the device you will be using
- Select MENU or Settings > Help/FAQ
- Find the How to Access the Forums section
- Select the ID section
- If you do not see an ID created, please create one and then share the ID as your temporary ID with support
